Jesus Pobre

The Jesus Pobre Area

Jesus Pobre Market

Located just 15 minutes inland from the coast, Jesus Pobre is a traditional Spanish village surrounded by orange groves and vineyards. The village is aesthetically very charming, with narrow winding streets, traditional town houses and a riu rau at the centre of the town.

The village is home to a popular weekly Artisan market which attracts visitors from across the area to sample home grown and produced goods.

In the village there is mixed community of Spanish, locals and Northern Europeans. The annual fiestas are held around the end of May and there are two weeks of festivities, which include bands, discos, fireworks and events on daily basis.

Jesus Pobre offers a mix of properties from traditional townhouses and modern apartments in the village to fincas and country houses on its outskirts. The property here is slightly cheaper than the coastal towns of Moraira and Javea.
